AUSTRALIA - Australian Motor Finance Group Ltd agreed to acquire Orpheus Energy Group Pty Ltd (OEG). OEG plans to acquire rights to further coal, uranium and industrial mineral projects.

RUSSIA - OAO "Strakhovoye obshchestvo gazovoy promyshlennosti" {SOGAZ}, a unit of Russian state-owned OAO Gazprom's Gazprom Neft subsidiary, acquired a ##% stake in ZAO "Strakhovaya Kompaniya "GazGarant" {SK GazGarant}, a Saint- Petersburg-based insurance company.

BRAZIL - GAFISA SA planned to acquire the remaining ##% stake which it did not already own in Construtora Tenda SA, a Sao Paulo-based real estate development firm.

UK - Perspective Financial Group Ltd acquired Chambers & Co, a Chelmsford, UK based provider of independent financial advisory services.

BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS - SKRP ## Inc agreed to acquire the entire share capital of China Intelligent Electronics Co Ltd, a wholesaler of electronic parts and equipment, in exchange for ##. ### mil SKRP common shares, in a reverse takeover tansaction.

JAPAN - Nagoya Kinrou Shimin Seikyou agreed to merge with Mikawa Shimin Seikatsu Kyodo Kumiai, a Toyohashi, Aichi- based food wholesaler to form a new entity named Seikatsu Kyodo Kumiai Coop Aichi. Terms were not disclosed.

OMAN - OAO "Borovichskiy Kombinat Ogneuporov" of Russia acquired a ##% interest in Gulf Proppant Co LLC, a construction company.

US - Evolution Fuels Inc signed letter of intent (LOI) to acquire two fuel stations (Stations) located in Mobile, Alabama, and Newton, Mississippi. On completion, Stations was to be renamed Evolution Fuels.

US - Integrated AV Systems LLC, doing business as CCS Presentation Systems, acquired an undisclosed majority interest, in Creative Presentations, a Metairie-based provider of audio visual services. Terms were not disclosed.

JAPAN - Masayuki Yoshida, the President and representing director of Four Meisters System Consulting Inc (Four Meisters) agreed to acquire an ##% interest in Four Meisters, a Chuo, Tokyo-based developer of computer system, for JPY ## mil (US #.### mil), from BeMap Inc.

TAIWAN - Ting Feng Broadcasting Co Ltd planned to acquire a ##% stake in Tung Fu Information Technology Co Ltd, a provider of information technology services, from Eastern Media Investment Co Ltd, a majority- owned unit of Eastern Media International Corp, for TWD ##.# mil (USD #.### mil).

JAPAN - YAC Co Ltd acquired Oita solar battery system manufacturing factory of bankrupt SES Co Ltd, a Kunitachi, Tokyo-based manufacturer of industrial washing equipments, for JPY ## mil (USD #.### mil). The debt restructuring value of JPY ## mil (USD #.### mil) is derived based on the transaction value since the book value of the financial debt was not disclosed. Originally in January ####, SES announced that it was seeking a buyer for the company, and prior to the transaction, YAC acquired the solar power business of SES.

ISRAEL - The Israeli government announced that it was seeking a buyer for its ##.#% stake, or ###.#### mil ordinary shares, in Bank Leumi Le Israel BM, a Tel- Aviv-based investment bank.

AUSTRALIA - Maxease Ltd, a wholly-owned unit of Fushan International Energy Group Ltd, agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Chonghou Energy Resources Ltd, a coal mining company, for HKD ### mil (USD ##.### mil).

CANADA - Lanesborough Real Estate Investment Trust, a Winnipeg-based real estate investment trust, agreed to divest its apartment properties portfolio, located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, to an undisclosed acquiror, for CAD ## mil (USD ##.### mil).

UK - Savile Group Plc agreed to acquire an undisclosed company focused in the public sector. The target company is likely to make a loss in the year ended ## December #### on revenues in excess of GBP# mil.

CANADA - In October ####, RealCap Holdings Ltd announced that it was seeking a buyer for its oil and gas properties unit, an oil and gas exploration and production property.

US - Mobile Presence Technologies Inc definitively agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Tianwei International Development Corp, an Oregon-based holding company of Shandong Caopu Arts & Crafts Co, Ltd, a crafts and furniture manufacturer in China from CAOPU Enterprise Ltd (##%), London Financial Group Ltd (#. ##%), and Phoebus Investment Development Group Ltd (#.##%) for USD #.### mil. The consideration was to consist of #.### mil common shares. The shares were valued based on Mobile Presence Technologies' closing stock price of USD #.## on ## October ####, the last full trading day prior to the announcement.

US - Republic Airways Holdings Inc (Republic), a unit of Wexford Capital LLC, agreed to merge its ##.##% interest in Mokulele Flight Services Inc with Mesa Air Group Inc (Mesa), a passenger and commercial airline, to form a joint venture named Mo- Go LLC, in a transaction value at USD #.### mil, based on the value of the assets contributed by Mesa.
