The Group has 5,570 hotel properties and 872 hotels under development representing 452,027 rooms open and 87,982 rooms under development in 49 states and more than 39 countries and territories outside the United States. The Group franchises lodging properties under the following brand names: Comfort Inn(R), Comfort Suites(R), Quality(R), Clarion(R), Sleep Inn(R), Econo Lodge(R), Rodeway Inn(R), MainStay Suites(R), Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Cambria SuitesTM and Flag Hotels(R). The Group enters into franchise agreements committing to provide franchisees with various marketing services, a centralized reservation system and limited rights to utilize the Company's registered trade names and trademarks. |
